With roots in the landscape design industry dating back to 1992, Mark brings decades of award-winning experience to creating outdoor spaces that stand the test of time. He is known for thoughtful planning, enduring materials, and designs that mature beautifully, balancing function and aesthetics through creative, custom landscapes. Outside of work, Mark enjoys fishing, golfing, and kayaking, pursuits that continue to inspire his deep appreciation for the outdoors.

John, Landscape Design & Sales

John is an award-winning designer with over 25 years of experience in the landscape industry. John has held every role in landscape construction, from shovel operator to business owner. For the past two decades, John has been creating unique and stunning landscapes. His wealth of experience and dedication to ensuring the clients receive the highest level of service and quality possible are apparent on every project.

Axel, Landscape Design & Sales

Axel is an avid outdoorsman with a love for plants and all things wild. A Hennepin Tech graduate, Axel holds multiple degrees centered around landscape design and its various niches. Axel is a creative designer who specializes in creating natural sustainable landscapes that are thoughtful, functional, and catered to each client individually. Outside of work, Axel can be found working on his race trucks, ice fishing (ice permitting) or reading the latest adventure novel. “It’s easy to be great at what you do when you’re standing on the shoulders of giants.”

Bill, Landscape Design & Sales

Bill has worked in sales roles for 29 years in addition to managing his own small business for 21 years. He especially enjoys helping customers achieve their goals. Outside of work, Bill enjoys playing golf, fishing in Canada, and spending time with friends and family.

Christa, Landscape Design & Sales

Christa’s childhood was filled with vegetable and flower gardening. Her interests led her to take horticulture, floriculture, agriculture, and computer drafting classes in high school and later earned a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and environmental science from North Dakota State University. Using the latest design technology, Christa artfully blends her knowledge of science and design to make her clients’ dream landscape become a reality. During her decade-long career in landscape design, Christa regularly consults with the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association and the American Society of Landscape Architects for continued professional development.

Heidi, Landscape Design & Sales

Heidi earned a BA in Communications from the University of Minnesota – Duluth and a Master of Agriculture in Horticulture from the U of M – Twin Cities. Watching landscape renovation shows on HGTV inspired her to begin her landscape design career more than 15 years ago. Aside from masterful designs, Heidi’s strengths are relating to people and listening to her clients’ needs. Heidi enjoys her own landscape design and pool with her family and friends. Her dream is to design and own her own mini golf course!

Fardos, Landscape Design & Sales

Fardos has been a designer with LCI Landscapes since 2015. With a BFA degree in Industrial Design from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, her technical skills in design have earned her the position of Design Process Manager. Fardos is passionate about what we do and especially enjoys bringing her clients’ landscape vision to life. In her free time, Fardos enjoys motorcycles, racing, traveling, camping, and dining out with friends.

Tom, Controller

Tom is a graduate of Georgia State University and has been helping lead companies both big and small for the past 30 years. Tom served 3 years in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer who was Airborne Qualified and a graduate of the Sapper Leader Course. His academic background in business administration along with his real-world experience in finance puts Tom at the helm of managing the company’s financial wellbeing. In his free time, Tom plays soccer, leads Boy Scouts, and supports his kids in their sports and artistic endeavors.

Greg, Operations Manager

Greg brings three decades of experience to LCI Landscapes. Aside from his extensive landscape knowledge, skill, and expertise, Greg is well-known for building long-lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and team members. Greg oversees the production and management of each project, from beginning to end. A great day for Greg starts early in the morning at the shop with that day’s production plan in place…and sunshine helps, too!

Tim, Landscape Design/Build CEO

Tim is a highly experienced professional with a rich background spanning over three decades in the green industry. Serving as the CEO of the Design & Build division and a proud co-owner of LCI Landscapes, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Since joining forces with Donny Caruth, the esteemed President & CEO of LCI Landscapes, in 2002, Tim has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and success.

Passionate about creating stunning landscapes and solving challenges, Tim is deeply committed to ensuring client satisfaction and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment at LCI. With a steadfast vision of establishing LCI Landscapes as the industry’s premier employer, Tim prioritizes delivering outstanding service, sharing valuable knowledge, and infusing projects with unmatched creativity and accountability.

In his personal life, Tim finds balance by spending quality time with his family and engaging in various sports activities, with a particular fondness for hockey and golf. Through his leadership, dedication, and genuine enthusiasm for his craft, Tim O’Connor continues to set a high standard of excellence in the landscaping industry, inspiring both his team and clients alike.
